Each coffee sack has a fantastic, unique story to tell. The sacks are made in farms, at different parts of the world, like Columbia, Guatemala, Brazil, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Nicaragua and Honduras. The fabric of the sack is loose enough to allow the perfect air circulation. The coffee sack travels around the word, carrying 55 to 70 kg of green coffee beans. When the green coffee beans are emptied from the sacks, mostly the sacks are simply discarded into waste... a wasted opportunity to reuse these beautiful, character-filled materials.
